Breakthrough Solutions Annual Conference 2008
It’s All Connected - Linking Your Local Economy to Global Opportunities

Over 115 people registered for this conference, with the theme "It’s All Connected – Linking Your Local Economy to Global Opportunities."  Those in attendance were treated to the insights of Jane Smith Patterson, Executive Director of North Carolina’s e-NC program for rural broadband.  They learned of opportunities for communities, counties and regions offered by the Breakthrough Solutions program of U of A Cooperative Extension, Division of Agriculture.

Panels offered information on the Connect Arkansas Program to deploy and harness the power of broadband throughout Arkansas, stories of community and regional economic development and opportunities in developing a skilled workforce for Arkansas.
