Huge Bass Tournament Landed in Hot Springs – March 2005

On July 13, the richest bass tournament in history will begin on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs – the Forrest L. Wood Championship and Outdoor Show. Named after the founder of Ranger Boats, the championship will attract the biggest names in bass fishing. The fish will be weighed at the Hot Springs Civic and Convention Center, where the Outdoor Show will totally fill the facility with over 140 boat, engine, and tackle exhibits, as well as activities for children. There is no charge for the public. Fox Sports Net’s FLW Outdoors and the Wal-Mart Television Network will cover the events. Congratulations to the community leaders of Hot Springs for not letting this big one get away.
