Paris is Ready for Vision Fair on May 21 - May 2002

The Paris VISION 2010 Leadership Team is moving forward with a Community Vision Fair set for May 21 in the Municipal Building. "We are excited about the process and what is happening in Paris," states Sheila Brandt, Logan County Extension Staff-Chair and a member of the Paris VISION 2010 Leadership Team. "The students in the Paris High School EAST Lab have been extremely helpful. They surveyed the merchants around the square, have made posters with the ideas on them, and are developing a PowerPoint presentation for the Vision Fair. I just can’t say enough good about those kids and how they are helping us. We look forward to a very productive session on May 21."

A visioning process has already been taken to numerous organizations in the community, and has resulted in tremendous feedback about what the citizens and leaders want to see in Paris in the future. The five key areas to addressed at the Vision Fair are economic development, quality of life, infrastructure, parks and recreation, and education. With leadership from Ted Tritt and Jim O’Bar, the Paris VISION 2010 Leadership Team also includes Judy Hall, Vicky Wiggins, Dottie Neumeier, and Sheila Brandt. Sheila may be reached at (501) 963-2360 or sbrandt@uaex.edu.

Way to go Paris VISION 2010 Leadership Team - we look forward to great things emerging out of this process.
