Randolph County Reaches Out, Embraces EAST Program – April 1998

The Randolph County VISION 2010 Team is moving forward, beginning with meetings held in every school district of the county. The visions generated from those meetings are being pulled together into top priorities.

Already two major projects are underway: a Partners in Education Program was created at Black River Technical College, and an EAST Program is being installed in the Pocahontas High School. Brinkley learned about the EAST Program through VISION 2010, and was one of four communities that made a $100,000 commitment within 4 days to participate in the program.
